Demise of Metals

Filed under: Abstract, Hand of Man, Hi Res, Industrial, Sigma DP2 Merrill, Sigma DP2M — collin j örthner @ 9:28 pm

I spent a fabulous day in Calgary visiting/working/playing with my good friends Doug and Shannon Williamson. The playing was spent photographing in the Ogden area in Calgary which has  mostly light industrial manufacturing and the like. There are boundless opportunities for abstracts and architectural images. Doug was plein air painting with his friend Mel Aikenhead, while I wondered around making many images with my camera. This is a single frame from my camera, not two. I did however work the colours in PS. This is my 400th blog post, so be sure to click on “older posts” at the bottom left corner of the screen for more! Enjoy.

  1. Happy 400th Blog-post Collin! This is an impressive accomplishment worthy of note! Thank you my friend for making the digital world a more beautiful place.
