The hotel we stayed in was insured by the world famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Every part from the lobby, the roof, the rock work, and even the window coverings conveyed this inspiration. I made an image of the window blind in our room and like that there was a palm tree in the background outside to give a sense of place. Laura and I drove through downtown Phoenix and stopped in at the Phoenix Art Museum, but we got there with only about an hour and a half before closing, and I honestly didn’t think we could do it justice in such a short time. It’ll have to wait for the next trip!

Soft light of a winter’s day floods into a lounge in the Kinnear Centre for Creativity at the Banff Cantre. I was visiting my good friend Doug Williamson while he was doing an art residency last March. Doug was busy working on some paintings in his studio, and I took some time to wander through the Kinnear Centre and it’s fabulous Paul D. Fleck Library and Archives. The Donald Cameron Centre sits immediately north and the Eric Harvie Theatre can be seen in the background.

Over the past few years Nicole Fox who is Novus Designs has decorated some homes that look absolutely gorgeous. I have had the privilege of photographing them and a few of the images from a home in Medicine Hat are included here.
I have been enjoying doing some interior design photos with my Lensbaby. These two are from our place.
